Lost Feedburner Subscribers?

Anyone else having problems with Feedburner? Overnight, I’ve (apparently) dropped from ~1200 subscribers to ~500. A quick Google search shows lots of people reporting the same problem.

Anyone know what’s going on – or had a similar experience?

The goons at Sphinn seem to think it’s related to an imminent transfer to a google URL (from the old FeedBurner one).

You can speed the process by logging in to FeedBurner and clicking a link at the top of the page so it will start using your Google account.

I did so this morning but it’s too early to say whether this will re-instate my subscriber count.

In my case it looks like the subscribers on feeds.feedburner.com (old url) are not being counted, only those on (new url) are being counted, by Google Reader….Some weird things are happening with feedburner, yesterday my old url was redirecting to feeds2.feedburner.com/… which was 404 essentially, but now that has content, but it actually should be redirecting to feedproxy.google.com/….

Yes the impending switch over is at the end of the month, may be just hiccups due to that
